Perhaps it's because of the number of people using the blogs, photo places, and websites that make them so easy not to work. So many times, it seems, teachers get started on a project which can not be completed because something from the hardware or software or website does not work. This is not pleasing or practical.
I enjoy using a digital camera because it is easy to use. You just put it in the camera dock and press the buttons that you can easily review in the manual.
I'd like to use Flickr right now; however, I must wait for some glitch in the system. I suppose there are people trying to out think these large group used websites and it's a challenge to keep them working. Two people with different great ideas for one website at precisely the same moment might do some damage.
Basically, technology is entertaining and fast when you need it.

Whenever I am working with technology and students I always have a Plan B, Plan C and sometimes even D as technology seems to sense your "urgency of need" and responds in reverse (or should I say perverse) mode. ;-)
